Crissay-sur-Manse (French pronunciation: [kʁisɛsyʁmɑ̃s] ) is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France.[3] It is a member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France (The Most Beautiful Villages of France) Association.[4] The houses are made from white limestone, with mullioned windows. The village is located on the Manse river.

Amenities
[edit ]In 2010 it contained two restaurants. There are walking trails and picnic areas signposted in the town.
History
[edit ]It was fortified in 1545, and was given to Jacques Turpin II of Crissé by the authority of François I.[6]
