The 2024–25 Detroit Red Wings season is the 99th season for the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that was established on September 25, 1926.[1] It is the Red Wings' eighth season at Little Caesars Arena. This was the Red Wings' third season under head coach Derek Lalonde, until he was fired and replaced by Todd McLellan on December 26, 2024.[2]
