The 2016 CIS Men's Volleyball Championship was held from March 10 to March 12, 2016, in Hamilton, Ontario, to determine a national champion for the 2015–16 U Sports men's volleyball season.[1] The 50th edition of the tournament was played at Burridge Gymnasium on the campus of McMaster University.[2] It was the fourth time that McMaster had hosted the tournament and the first since 2007.[3]
The Canada West champion Trinity Western Spartans defeated the top-seeded host OUA champion McMaster Marauders 3–1 to win the fourth title in program history.[4] The Spartans had a 9–9 record in January, but finished the season with a 12–2 record, including playoffs.[5]
