Latin letter K with caron
Ǩ (K with a caron) is a letter used in the Laz language [1] and in the Skolt Saami language,[2] where it represents [kʼ] and [c͡ç] respectively. The Unicode codepoints for this letter are U+01E8 ("Ǩ") for the capital letter, and U+01E9 ("ǩ") for the lowercase letter.

Laz data are written in the Lazoglu & Feurstein-alphabet introduced to the Laz community in Turkey in 1984. It deviates from the Caucasianists' transcription in the following graphemes (<Laz = Caucasianist>): <ç = č>, <c = j [j breve]>, <ǩ = kʼ>, <p̌ = p'>, <ş = š>, <t̆ = t'>, <ʒ = c>, <ǯ =c'>.
