I am not sure the following links are well suited for the mainspace so I put them at least on the talk page. They pertain to SSE2 and there being differences in floating point calculation.
- complex number calculations much slower on windows than on linux/osx?, bitbucket.org
- Is python-3-5-0.exe compiled with SSE2 instrutions? If so should we mention this?, bugs.python.org
