Hot plug automounts as an USB mass storage device under KDE-3.5.10. MicroSD card works and can be uses as a MicroSD card reader if set to do so in the Blackberry settings. Bluetooth not tested due to me not having a bluetooth capable computer. Tethering not done due to the phone not being active. Syncing failed.

Tethering is possible under AT&T using Barry, but it is not for the faint of heart. Don't attempt this without a tethering plan. Syncing is also possible, but so difficult and buggy that I would classify it as useless.

Detected by SuSE as network interface, but doesn't do anything more. No access to memory. No network sharing at all.

Syncing will not work. When you connect the HD2 to USB, you are asked how the device will behave. If you choose either "Network sharing" or "Mass memory" it will work without further configuration as a network card or storage device.*
In the first case, your computer will share 3G connection with the PDA. Vice versa (like in Windows) is not possible.*
You can always share 3G connection using "Wireless Router" software that is installed by default in the ROM, provided you have a wireless card.
|
*This should apply to any Windows Phone 6.5 device
