AAA-Australia

The Australian Automobile Association has been the voice of motoring in Australia since 1924.

The Automobile Association of America offers roadside assistance, insurance, training, International Driving Permits, etc. (Hint: enter your location carefully!)


Association of British Drivers

Advocacy group for drivers in the UK. A "voluntary and non-profit making organization funded and run by its members."


Britain -- Institute of Advanced Motorists

IAM is a U.K. based non-profit group with the stated aims of improving driving standards, promoting road safety, and establishing an advanced driving test.


CAA

The Canadian Automobile Association advocates for Canada's motoring and the traveling public. Formed in 1913, it also offers a respected roadside assistance plan. (English and French.)


National Automobile Club

NAC (USA) began in 1924, and offers roadside assistance and travel services.


National Motorists Association (U.S.)

The Wisconsin-based National Motorists Association (NMA) was founded in 1982 to represent and protect the interests of North American motorists. Grassroots organization "believes in freedom and responsibility to make choices, not in "one size fits all" legislation, ticket cameras, unfair driving taxes, revenue-motivated traffic courts and speed traps. The NMA supports traffic laws based on sound engineering principles and public consensus - not political agendas."
