Jared (Hebrew: ירד, Yẹreḏ; Greek: Ἰάρετ, Iāret; "slave" or more likely "Name means::shall come down"[1] ) (Born::Tammuz 460 AM-Died::Tammuz 1422 AM) was the son of son of::Mahalaleel and the father of father of::Enoch. He was born to his father Mahalaleel when Mahalaleel was 65 years old, in 460 AM.[2]

Jared had a son, Enoch, when he was Age of parenthood::162 years old (622 AM).[3] He lived to be Life span::962 years old, dying in 1422 AM.[4]

"And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch: And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died." - Genesis 5:18-20
