Elzaphan or Elizaphan (Hebrew: אליצפן, ʼElẓāfān; "Name means::My God has protected") was a Kohathite clan leader, chief of the Kohathites during the forty-year journey through the wilderness, and a brother of Mishael and Zithri. The Bible gives him one other distinction: after the strange-fire incident in which Nadab and Abihu died, he and his brother Mishael were detailed to drag away their burnt bodies out of camp.
