The Asshurim (Hebrew: אשורים, ʼAshshūrīm) are the descendants of Asshur (Hebrew: אשור, ʼAshshūr; "Name means::a step"), the first son of Dedan, son of Grandson of::Jokshan, son of Great-Grandson of::Abraham by Great-Grandson of::Keturah according to Genesis 25:3 .
