The app's source code is rather peculiar I must say, but it looks legit to me.

I also tested the app for just a bit, and the quality seems good, at least OK.

When the description discussion is settled, I think this is good to merge.

I'm not too sure about making such claims in a particular app's description. This is a property of Delta Chat (which implies that it might not be the case in other messengers that support WebXDC).

Oh and one more thing: the app's icon utilizes transparency, which is discouraged by WebXDC spec authors.

AFAIK this is about making sure that the icon is looking good on all backgrounds.

Also see https://webxdc.org/docs/spec/format.html#icon-files :

Round corners, circle cut out etc. will be added by the implementations as needed; do not add borders or shapes to the icon therefore. If no icon is set, a default icon will be used.
