# Describe the improvement

  • Mastodon
  • Pleroma
  • Friendica
  • Pixelfed

When i'm on the web (or anywhere really) if someone puts a link to their masto/ple/.... profile on the page. It would be nice if you could use the android share menu to select Fedilab and have fedilab actually recog it's a profile.

Currently when you do this, it just creates a post with the link.

I know you can just paste the link to a profile in the search field of the app. But being able to just parse it trough to the app directly would be pretty neat

[x] - I read
the contributing page

What's your Android version: 12+? If so, it's why it does not work for you.

13 yeah. So this is supposed to work normally on <12 versions?

Hi @Thibaultmol, sadly it doesn't work in newer Android Versions. 😞 Please see Tom's comment in #756.

@tom79: I guess nothing changed on the situation: Fedilab is set up to recognize and open Fediverse links, but newer Android versions ignore that? If something could be improved now, please reopen this issue. Thank you.
