I think it works now, however the transparent background is black. But I think this is a kde issue, since now it displays fine in Firefox, but has that black ground in all QT apps and plasma

I think Hardware normalization with gstreamer is only possible with alsasink if the alsa device has a hardware mixer. The rg modules should pick those up automatically when alsasink is used. But...
The latest commit works flawless for me.
Falling back to track gain is the obvious choice I think.
It seems to work pretty well, but in album mode some tracks will burst your eardrums. See https://tidal.com/track/365167729?u. I think it does not have album replay gain info in the json stream...
I think right-clicking on something would also be very intuitive. Currently, right-clicks have no function at all.
