Lucyboard

Lucyboard is a reimplementation of rollerderby/scoreboard.

Background

I recently sat at a rollerderby game and thought, I wonder how this thing is implemented? How do the officals connect to the scoreboard? Is it secure? What other features does it have that I can't see? ...and many more questions.

FAQ

Should I use it?

At this point: I don't know how. There is literaly nothing implemented yet. Sooo go ahead. If you get anything useful out of nothing, good for you I guess.

Do you plan to replace rollerderby/scoreboard?

No not by any means. My brain recently decided my new special interest it rollerderby, and combining it with something else I can't stop talking about (gleam) makes me happy.

Do you want contributions?

No code contributions are welcome!

As I still have to figure out how I want to structure this project and handle some important details I don't want handle code related merge requests.

As soon this is changing, I will update this FAQ entry.

Features

As already mentioned, I haven't implemented anything yet. But my goal is for it to be as feature complete as possible.

In rollerderby/scoreboard there are the following screens / tabs:

  • Main Operator Controls
  • Team Editor
  • Ruleset Editor
  • IGRG Editor
  • Scoreboard Controls
  • Lineup Controls
  • Data Management
    • Games
    • Teams
    • Rulesets
    • Operators
    • Files
  • Mobile Device Operator Controls
  • Scoreboard Video Overlays

As soon I have a better overview of the domain, this list will get more concrete.

AI Policy

For many reasons I do not want discuss, any contributions to this project must be 100% human written.
