This is so damn annoying. I had too many fucking settings for me to remember. Ugh......

I agree, many updates which I don't mind but settings are a real pain, redoing every day!

@lpitman This should not be happening. What OS are you on and what version do you have installed?

I am using Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon and the Librewolf version is 146.0.1-1

It appears that cookies and site data are not persistent after updates, even though exceptions are listed under Manage Exceptions

How did you add the exemptions? https://librewolf.net/docs/faq/#how-do-i-stay-logged-into-specific-websites

Not checked all of them but a lot of the URLs seem to be wrong.
A lot of the sites in your screenshot show http and not https. I assume that in 2026 no websites does login sessions via http anymore.

Also, a lot of sites use www. subdomains. Amazon is https://www.amazon.com, YouTube is https://www.youtube.com

If you create these rules, you need to make sure they actually match the site properly.

Here is a screenshot.

You are not adding them correctly. Follow the guide https://librewolf.net/docs/faq/#how-do-i-stay-logged-into-specific-websites.

For youtube you would add youtube.com

(削除) Not really. (削除ここまで)
(削除) YouTube is using www.youtube.com for all the sessions, and unless you yourself enter https://www.youtube.com it will default to http only. (削除ここまで)

Just tested it. When you add youtube.com it adds both the http and https version. It exempts subdomains too.
