The Ariadne spec is currently working on supporting a new method of creating identity profiles that use a combination of EdDSA/ECDSA and JWTs to store and distribute profile data, instead of the current method of using OpenPGP.

This new method allows for the creation of more accessible user interfaces to help with the creation and maintenance of profiles.

The spec is still version 0 and implementation details may still change.
