  1. Install the app, from the F-Droid-Store or from the PlayStore.
  2. Get an Open Call API 3.0 API-Key from OpenWeatherMap.org OWM-FAQ or use an old API key created before July 2022. Please note that when creating a new account, OWN will generate a key for "Current weather and forecast" API on a free plan which at this time cannot be used with the Weather App (OWN changed their licensing model). For more details please see comments in issues #34 and #43.
  3. Enter your city, preferably in the format: "City, country code" or use the "Location detection" feature.
  4. Then please select the unit (under UI Settings) and enter your API key.
  5. Click "Submit" and everything should work 😉 or you receive an error message...
