I spent the better part of yesterday evening trying to get this to work, only to discover that it doesn't just yet. I would love to help others avoid that frustration :-)

I am not fully convinced that this is necessary but if it does get merged you definitely need to specifically clarify that Forgejo v16 is the version that introduces the feature instead of just vaguely saying there is "no current release supporting it".

Also, for the record, all you need to do to get it working with Forgejo v15 is cherry-pick the patch and build your own binary, and the title of this pull request is extremely misleading.
