SourceCode: codeberg.org/genofire/meshviewerd
This project meshviewerd, is there to solve the small gap between:
- collect data: yanic
- display data: meshviewer
The Idea is to configure yanic, to:
- store data from yanic into prometheus
- short try: FreifunkBremen/yanic#189
- long restructure gluon:
- yanic as service discovery for prometheus
- gluon expose data as metrics: freifunk-gluon/gluon#3311
- put meshviewerd in place
- plays
meshviewer.json-proxy to an prometheus server - render also diagrams for meshviewer
- plays
Benefits:
- small diagrams for meshviewer ;)
- by using prometheus:
- handle setup with multiple yanic instances (let prometheus scrape them)
- global-view by using enhance prometheus setups (maybe with thanos, mimir, cortex)
- -> perfect for multiple gluon-site and gluon-domain, meshviewer-collector or census
