Kwlejka: A text area for your desktop

Ever wanted to copy another text while you are already holding some copied text?

Have you ever opened a text editor just to hold a piece of text just for a moment?

Are you not ready for complex clipboard managers?

Kwlejka has got your back!

It's just a text area.

Really, nothing but a text area

But what does it do?

Nothing, it just keeps text until you log out or delete it.

And what is it good for?

For me, it's an additional, short-lived buffer for copy-pasting. Or for remembering what I wanted to search next.

I want it!

Are you using KDE Plasma yet? Like, with Fedora? Great.

Copy the kwlejka directory to your local plasmoids directory.

git clone https://codeberg.org/dcz/kwlejka
mkdir -p ~/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/
cp -a kwlejka/kwlejka ~/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/

Then add it as a widget to Plasma: right-click on the panel, add widget, find it in the list and add it where you like.
