How do you feel about lines that run frequent for a relatively small part of the day like some lines of Toronto Go Transit: https://assets.metrolinx.com/image/upload/v1776168028/Documents/GO/full-schedules/FS25042026/TABLE09.pdf ?
This line runs every 10 minutes during morning peak hours and half hour service the rest of the day. That is quite commen for commuter lines, which is the purpose of this csv file right?
I do agree that we can remove services with only few departures per day, but maybe we can put the barrier a little lower than for the rapid file (e.g. minimal hourly service) so we can easely add them to rapid if service improves.
Ok, to keep this network
I have try to check network website of each operator, but find readable timetables is not easy 😫

Do you want to check all network removed?
I'm looking into it now, but overall it looks good.
Where do you think we should set the boundary? I've taken a minimum of 1 train per hour, also during weekends for this review, but we can raise that requirement if you want. (Maybe also relevant for the wiki that you are planning, even though we don't really use the commuter file at the moment)
Edit: I think we can do like you said: remove hourly service or less, but then I think we should keep services that sometimes run more frequent (but not the full day or not during weekends where we could say minimum is hourly).
It indeed is very challenging to find timetables of some obscure networks 😅

Quite frequent. According to wikipedia some lines even run 3 times per hour, so could maybe even be suitable for rapid.

Maybe keep this one here? It has a real hourly schedule and some lines more frequent if I remember correctly, just not enough to justify it for rapid.

I'm not sure about this one: At least the Airport line has a 30 minute frequency on a part of the route, even during the weekend. Other lines drop to 1/h outside of peak hours, with only a 2 hour frequency during the weekend. However, these lines sometimes travel along the same corridor, creating a more frequent service.
I have no real preference for keeping it or getting rid of it.

I have reverted all networks that you have checked
Do I understand right that the source_data/commuter_trains.csv is not used at the moment? So we don't need to announce this change in relnotes?
Yes, cannot be use for now, need to move each lines to rapid.csv
