Turn up and go train line in melbourne from February 1st 2026.
The relations:

Not entirely sure if it meets the requirements for comaps but I think it will (after Feb 1 2026)

I know. It is officially called the metro tunnel. Does it need to be an actual metro to be added? I thought the only requirement was turn up and go service.

What is RER?

Also only dandenong to west footscray will have turn up and go service during the day, rest of the line doesn't, so I think it's only 1 of the relations not all of them.

Seems like our govt lied to us (quite common) and are only going to have turn up and go frequency at peak hours (3-4min wait for train). The rest of the day will only have 10min freq. Is that good enough to add to comaps?

If it is, please tell me how/where to add new lines.

10 mins freq seems to be fine to me, I bet we have subway networks with (much) lower freq already.

It doesn't look like there are any actual route paths/relations defined there, those just look like lists of citys

You need to add a new line with the name of the city, the number of train lines, the network name, ...

I think the subway processor will just process all suitable relations fitting into the defined bounding box, probably there is optional matching by name also (if there are several networks in a city)
