Logo-Refinement 4: COmpass #99

Hello everyone!
Better late than never - this issue is dedicated to refine Logo-Finalist 4 - "COmpass from @nclm in this issue: #78

The goal here is:

• to collect feedback
• iterate on refinement ideas
• maye play with color-versions (as an addition to the monochrome main logo)

Feel free to come up with your own versions/refinements - I would love to see them! ❤️
All the "iterations" I post here are just ideas it does not mean, that I prefer them over the "original" version :)

Currently I would submit it like this

Colored:
drawing

Monochrome without Background:
drawing

What I personally like:

• it is really simple/clean
• it includes the "C" and the "O" from CoMaps
• it is a Compass which shares almost all letters from CoMaps and communicates "Navigation/Maps"
• should look good in all sizes/colors/situations :)

I must say I'm a bit dazzled with all the different threads and proposals - the process feels... not very organised.
But, that's not on you of course and off-topic.

I just wanted to chip in saying that I like the old pointer more: #83 (comment)

It has more of a 'navigation' vibe which feels more relevant to this project. Maybe if the pointer is yellow, or half-yellow (along its axis)?

Don't worry I will submit the one with the pointer as well - this one here (with the compass-needle) is just because I volunteered to create a submission-version of "Finalist 4" from nclm from the first Voting round :)

So basically - as far as I understand it - we will have one central voting coming up with refined submissions for all the 6 Icons that got through the first round. And this voting round will decide the "chosen logo" for CoMaps 😄
So don't worry too much about all the "scattered" refinement issues - they are just a space to talk about adjusting the logos before the "final vote"
