Your mastodon instance may not be subscribed to the kbin magazine, once you follow, it should start getting future posts.
Likely its working for lemmy because someone on your mastodon instance...
Looks like moving the data-action="click->kbin#toggleNav" from the head-nav to the div for fa-solid fa-bars produces more expected results.
