CocAInify

Using the same advanced technology Anthropic uses for sentiment analysis, this reveals the hidden workings of AI mania. That is to say - it replaces all instances of "AI" with the word "Cocaine". It might replace some other words too.

Made with real hands, real spite and real pettiness 🖤

But Why?

Generative AI is incredibly expensive, developed in a highly unethical manner, and potentially causes harm to mental processes. There are certain parallels to be made. CocAInify takes these parallels and gives them the anvil-on-head treatment.

This was inspired by a Fediverse post talking about Bluesky's descent into AI/cocaine.

Installation

Available on Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-Ons

Installing from Source

Chrom{e|ium}

  • Clone the repository
  • Go to chrome://extensions
  • Switch on Developer Mode
  • Click "Load Unpacked"
  • Select the folder of the repository.

Firefox

  • Clone the repository
  • Go to about:debugging
  • Click "Load Temporary Extension"
  • Navigate to folder of repository
  • Open "manifest.json"

How to Use

Clicking the extension icon will toggle translation for that particular domain.
