Tangarine: a button faceplate for Tangara
Tangarine is a faceplate for the Tangara music player which replaces its touchwheel with a set of buttons. It is designed to fit the touchwheel hole in the stock case, so you don't have to replace it.

Like mechanical keyboards, Tangarine supports getting way too into switches and critiquing them like fancy tea or wine. For best results, say things like "switchfeel" and "notes of clickiness". |

| 1 | 1MΩ resistor, 0603 | |
| 1 | 2N7002 or equivalent, SOT-23 or SOT-323/SC-70 | Either will work; sometimes one is easier to source than the other. |

| 1 | 1μF capacitor, 0603 | |
| 1 | TCA9535PW or PCA9535PW, TSSOP-24 | No functional differences for how Tangarine uses it; use whichever one you think is a cooler looking letter. |
| 1 | GT-F0509SR15-15SMT01 | FFC connector to mainboard |
Firmware
You'll need at least version 2.0.0 of the Tangara firmware to enable custom input devices.
Once you've flashed that, copy input.lua to the root of your SD card. You can customize the button mapping by editing button_map in this script.
Questions
Why is it called Tangarine?
Because it looks like a sliced-open tangerine, possibly in an odd color.
