Detailed description
There are 3 instances of strnlen which is not present in the C11 standard. Eliminate these instances.
A positive side effect is that we will save a few bytes of code size

## Detailed description
There are 3 instances of strnlen which is not present in the C11 standard. Eliminate these instances.
