Detailed description

While compiling BMP firmware with the -flto flag, I noticed that the probe does not respond to packets sent to /dev/ttyBmpGdb which led me to investigate why. In the process I found that there is Undefined Behavior with the declaration and usage of the usb_config variable. After fixing this UB, I can now interact with BMP firmware which was compiled with Link Time Optimizations(LTO)
