Implementing this FEP is probably premature. I'm going to put together a new draft in a day or two (waiting for more feedback on the thread) that will change it significantly.

I'm going to use this comment thread to discuss adding more protocols. This proposal defines protocol entries for Diaspora and Nostr. Ideally, it should also include entries for Zot, AT, OStatus, and maybe Secure Scuttlebutt.

They might. Certainly it would fit with the original use case for this FEP (Tapir, which will support following RSS feeds).
