Reasons for Constelle

Capacities generally works well, but you're locked into their apps and syncing.

• The app is sometimes slow, and doesn't feel native. Constelle defines a back end database that can interact with multiple front-end formats.
• The app doesn't support vim keybindings. Contell doesn't enforce any particular kind of front end interface.
• There is no easy way to import or expert the entire database. Constelle uses common open source data storage solutions, and will support full imports and exports.
• Syncing depends on a single company. Constelle will have multiple ways to save and sync your database, with the flexibility to create new ways.
• Constelle is a FOSS solution that's sustainable over time without depending on user revenues.
