LensorOS -- Pathetic Qualms

The first pre-release of LensorOS; a 64-bit operating system with a custom UEFI bootloader.

While there isn't any pretty UI, programs to run, or much to do at all, the system serves as a great basis for what's to come (ahem userland ahem). Also, you can draw with the mouse, and type with the keyboard in a bitmap font, so that's fun.

To Use LensorOS

First, download only the release package archive (i.e. LensorOS_PatheticQualms_V0.0.1.tar.xz).
Next, extract the archive using any extraction tool of your choice (i.e. 7zip, WinRAR, tar, etc).
I recommend placing the cross/wincross folder in the toolchain directory of this repository for easy automatic detection by CMake.
Finally, follow the instructions in the README found in the extracted contents to boot into LensorOS.

To Build LensorOS From Source Code

I recommend following the instructions in the repository root README to build LensorOS.

However, if you'd like to skip building the toolchain and you happen to be on x86_64 Linux or Windows, you may download the LensorOS toolchain for your host platform (i.e. the mingw one on Windows), extract it, then add the bin directory to your PATH environment variable. Note that you will have to create the sysroot yourself at this point (see this step in the toolchain README). A better solution for pre-built toolchains will be worked on in the near future :^).
