That addition seems confusing. Before this we claimed they mostly don't save stuff - now we're not listing, what they are reporting. Might also cause the question, what's about other governments?
I thought it was an interesting piece of info because it highlights what data Signal collects and that they are transparent about providing it to the US government.
Maybe a focus on the former would be more appropriate? Something like: "Signal sammelt so wenige Daten über dich wie möglich und speichert nur den Zeitpunkt der Account-Erstellung und wann sich deine App das letzte Mal mit den Servern verbunden hat."
I do like that better, but I'm not sure if most of the people we write this for, will care about that in that detail. I think the audience were trying to reach is so non technical, that this is padding - and thus just more to read for them.
