Migrating user to org has cooldown #2076

Hey there! I followed the steps listed in this issue but still come across the cooldown:

Waiting isn't a huge issue but if there is a way to do this faster that'd be great.

Hello! This account is the owner of the organization, I believe. I created it with this account. I don't know if it matters that the organization is private currently.

I meant the account that previously hold the name that you want to rename to.

That is also this account. Currently I am using the name I switched to so I could rename the organization. For specificity: this account was named GodtoSteam and I changed it to GodotSteamBot, the organization was created as GodotSteamTeam but cannot be renamed to GodotSteam due to cooldown.

Which organization do you want to rename and to which name?

This is the organization I switched it to public. I am just trying to change GodotSteamTeam to GodotSteam which was the original name of this account.

Hm it seems the cooldown code has the condition reversed, you can rename yourself to and old organization name. I will fix that.

To avoid cooldown is it still needed for you to manually update the name ? Or in other word is this fixed:

Are you in a similar situation? Do you have an organisation that you want to rename?

yes, I have posted the Issue #1732. It was not neccessary to transfer it until now but two things changed:

• I am starting a nonprofit with the same name and for time being it's official repo will be on codeberg. So it being org is appropriate
• I am keeping repo's private for now until they mature but want to start opening access to others which is so much easier for org's with Team functionality

Did all the steps from #1732 until renaming. Now need to:

• rename user: @sistemt -> something
• rename org: @sistemt2 -> @sistemt

sorry for nitpicking but non-profit will also be named 'sistemt' so do not want to mess this up

Feel free to try renaming, if it doesn't work I will rename it for you.

I have renamed my user and tried to move org @sistemt2 to @sistemt but cooldown stopped it.

Would appreciate if you could jump in ...

Could you do the same for the @econetwork-new organization? It should be @econetwork, but we are facing the cooldown because we first created a user with that name. The user had already been renamed to @econetwork-old and is a member of the organization.
