Based on a 5ドル.5 million, eleven-year study of the Brookline Early Education Project (BEEP), this book provides a framework for planning, administering, and evaluating a comprehensive birth-to-kindergarten program in the public schools. Using the story of one school district's experience, the BEEP findings show how school-based early education can present a coordinated approach to the problems of childhood poverty, inadequate child care, and fragemented services to multineeded families, and improve academic skills in the classroom.
