Bug Description
This bug is for tracking the 2.6.32-34.74 upload package. This bug will contain status and testing results related to that upload.
For an explanation of the tasks and the associated workflow see: https:/

All builds are complete, packages in this bug can be copied to -proposed.
Derivative packages from packages here can be worked on, the following tracking bugs were opened for them:
linux-fsl-imx51 - bug 829160
linux-mvl-dove - bug 829161
linux-ec2 - bug 829162
We have a regression reported against the previous version which was in -proposed, and which was replaced by this version with a single patch. That regression most likely also exists in this kernel.
https:/
This is a problem in the i915 driver, which had a number of patches applied as part of the update.
Sorry if this is not the appropriate place to report this, but this latest kernel update has caused a problem with a Lucid WINE app and (originally) the System Monitor. See https:/
emarkay: this problem should be the regression in previous -34 version fixed now by 34.74 kernel in -proposed, if not please drop a note. Also a maverick kernel is ready to be copied to proposed with the same fix (30.58).
This 34.74 is being respinned because of another regression found (bug 828550), a new update is being made, setting this bug as duplicate of the new tracking bug.
Herton, the issues I noted appear to be corrected now. Thank you!
This bug was fixed in the package linux - 2.6.32-34.77
