on lucid beta 1 my connection drops completely for approx a minute or degrades to 1 mbit/s
this may be related to http://
kern.log is flooded with "free more than tfds_in_queue" messages

Confirmed, it has DOS proportions here. My kern.log is already at 700MB and rsyslog is taking nearly one core at full CPU.

Same for me. Happened after update from 2.6.32-16 to 2.6.32-17.
