RegExp Characters [0-9]
A global search for the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 in a string:
let pattern = /[1-4]/g;
let result = text.match(pattern);
Description
The /[0-9]/
expression matches the digits fro 0 to 9.

Brackets [] specifies matches for the characters inside the brackets.
Brackets can define single characters, groups, or character spans:

Note
Use the [^0-9] expression to find any character that is NOT a digit.
