全盲の歌姫 若渚(わかな)
愛知県在住。生まれつき全盲。小学5年生から音楽活動を始める。シングルCDやアルバム、本を発売。24時間テレビ(中京テレビ)や各種メディアに出演。ゴールドコンサートで観客賞を受賞。豊田市文化振興財団文化新人賞受賞。
エフエム豊田RADIO LOVEATで月一回「若渚のにっこりタイム」放送。
あん摩・マッサージ・指圧師の国家資格を持ち,心と身体に寄り添えるよう歌とマッサージを両立し、全国でライブや学校講演等で活動中。そして、現在は陸上でパラリンピックを目指し頑張っている。

Blind songstress Wakana

Resides in Aichi Prefecture. Blind from birth. Started her music career in the 5th grade of elementary school. Has released single CDs, albums, and books. Has appeared on the 24-hour TV show (Chukyo TV) and in various media outlets. Received the Audience Award at the Gold Concert. Received the Cultural Newcomer Award from the Toyota City Cultural Promotion Foundation.
Broadcasts "Wakana's Nikkori Time" once a month on FM Toyota RADIO LOVEAT. A nationally certified Japanese anma/massage/shiatsu therapist, Wakana sings and offers massage services to help people's minds and bodies, while conducting live performances and lectures at schools throughout Japan. She is currently working hard to compete in the Paralympics in track and field.
