HideWin will hide any windows whose title and/or class match strings that you specify. A window's title is the text displayed in its titlebar. Specifying a title is usually sufficient (and the easiest way) to identify and hide windows. Simply type the title of the window you want to hide and click the "Add" button. When specifying a window title, capitalization and spacing are important. If your title string does not match the window title exactly, the window will not be hidden.
The class of a window is not usually displayed on the screen, but can be used in conjunction with a title to uniquely identify windows that share the same title, but belong to different classes. Alternatively, you can specify just a class name (leaving the title field empty) to hide multiple windows of the same type (e.g. all notepad windows have the class name of "Notepad"). To see a listing of the class names of all visible windows, click on the "List Visible Windows" button.
Because popup windows sometimes become visible again, HideWin continually searches for and hides windows. Enter the number of milliseconds to pause between searches in the "Hide Frequency" box. (Note: 1000 milliseconds = 1 second)
