The Hertz Corporation, the largest general use car rental firm in the world, has just introduced the Green Traveler Collection in Singapore.
More than half of the models emit up to 110g/km - exceeding the Neutral Band of the new Carbon Emissions-Based Vehicle Scheme (CEVS) set by the Land Transport Authority (LTA)
'The Green Traveler Collection' from renowned car rental firm, Hertz, offers a range of fuel efficient vehicles for environmentally conscious travellers.Also, with the new collection, Hertz now offers a new service, which allows patrons to reserve their cars, by make and model. This service is touted to be a first for the car rental industry in Singapore.

In an exclusive partnership with AutoFrance, the local distributor of Peugeot vehicles, the Green Traveler Collection offers carefully selected eco-friendly models to meet stringent CO2 emissions level of less than or equal to 140g/km.
Hertz customers will enjoy fuel savings as diesel powered cars offer almost double the fuel economy of a similar petrol powered vehicle, on top of reducing the carbon footprint. Hertz Singapore will also be the first location in Asia to offer the Green Traveler Collection. Introductory models include the Peugeot 208, the 308 and the standard 508 - all powered by Euro five turbocharged diesel engines.
