The S130 gas filled voltage stabiliser is on a B4 base. The striking voltage is 180 V and the burning current is from 6 to 75 mA. Within the current range the regulation is 5 volts.
Unlike our later S130 this exhibit has the paper label of the late 1920s and early 1930s.
The dome carries the Cossor name and manufacturing codes. Often when Cossor valves have lost their paper label people incorrectly believe this dome information to be the Type designation.
The balloon envelope is 50 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 105 mm tall.
