The World Radiocommunication Conference 2023 (WRC-23) adopted Resolution 121, which regulates the use of Earth Stations In Motion on aircraft and vessels communicating with Geostationary space stations in the Fixed-satellite service in the 12.75-13.25 GHz frequency band (referred to as "AP30B-ESIM").
The Bureau will maintain an AP30B-ESIM database containing notices of
- AP30B-ESIM Part A,
- AP30B-ESIM entered into the AP30B-ESIM List
- AP30B-ESIM recorded in the Master International Frequency Register (MIFR).
The AP30B-ESIM database is independent from the AP30B master database.
As from the first publication of a AP30B-ESIM notice, the Bureau will make the AP30B-ESIM master database available for download of administrations in the following section.
The BR application offering the interface to capture and consult the AP30B-ESIM database is SpaceCap (v10 or later). GIBC/AP30B ESIM application is needed to perform technical examination, both for assessing compliance with mandatory limits and evaluating the coordination requirements.
