They have a tourism promotion campaign at the Tokyo Dome, the baseball field with a dome.
At this time "Miss Koma no Zyoou",the campaing girls for Tendo city, and many staffs go to Tokyo. They present much cherry to the professional baseball team "Giants", "Baystars" and many visitors over 3,000 people. They show tourism promotion videos at the big display in the dome.

Today they start the early summer festival "Saflower Festival" at the area Kaminukuzu, southeast from Tendo Spa. They have a ceremony to open the saflower field.
Yamagata Prefecture, they decide the saflower as the prefectural flower. Because Yamagata had prospered in 17C by the saflower. But it is difficult to see it now because the term of flowers is very sort. They made efforts to extend the term.

The club "Murayama Bizyutsu" they show many works at the city hall in Tendo city.
They start their work from 1946 named as "Tendo Bizyutsu". After that the number of members outside from Tendo city increased. So they renamed their club "Murayama Bizyutsu". "Murayama" is the name around this area included with Tendo city.
This time they show many Japanese pictures, sculpture made by children and adulsts. They have this event by June 28(Sun).

There is a mysterious place in the southeast of Tendo spa.
It is the area "Jyagara Mogara".
This is in the deep forest and this is shaped a mortar.
It is cool because the cool air breezes from the holes of ground.
Usually lower hights, higher temtemparature.
But in this area, lower hights, lower temparature !
Nowadays the weed spreads out widely.
Every year people cut the weed to protect the holes of cool air.
