Lecture 5: Judgments as Types
We continue the representation of evaluations via the judgments-as-types
paradigm. We also incrementally introduce additional features of the LF
meta-language, motivated by requirements of the encoding. In particular
we will see the need for
type conversion, which drastically
changes the character of the type theory and accounts for much of its
expressive power.
