Dr. Toshihiko Masui, Director, is selected as a 2024 Highly Cited Researcher.

Clarivate Analytics has selected Dr. Masui as one of the Highly Cited Researchers for ranking in the top 1% most cited papers in the category of "Cross-Field". The Highly Cited Researchers list identifies scientists and social scientists who have demonstrated significant influence through publication of multiple highly-cited papers during the last decade.

LCCN Promotion Association will be launched soon. Dr. Minoru FUJII serves as Executive Director at this new initiative.

This initiative will further drive the advancement of LCCN (Life Cycle Carbon Neutral), a concept that goes beyond the traditional 3Rs by utilizing the heat generated from incinerating non-recyclable waste to supply steam to manufacturing plants and by producing plastics from captured CO2, all in the pursuit of achieving carbon neutrality.
