It's not common for free source software packages to provide an uninstaller
- I can't tell why this is so.
In general, if the software gets more mature and commonly used, most users
will install binary packages made for their distribution, which provide
possibilities of clean uninstallation. There are already xen packages for a
variety of Linux distributions.
Checkinstall is a tool to help with tracking installation and therefore
making uninstallation easier:

But I din't try it myself yet.
