Preston which will be handicapped for
ward by the absence of Fisher, who is not
available
Robertson has been included in preference to
Dunstone At Sandringham Gainger and Burns
have been omitted for Weber a forward who
played previously with St Kilda and Michael
son
l Dowling Brunswick s first rover told the
match committee last night that he wished to
retire The decision was received with much
regret and steps will be taken to recognise
Dowling's long service
to the club
Dowling has played
116 games for Bruns-
wick in seven years. He
missed only three
games In that period
He had won the
V F A medal for the
best and fairest
