[Yaesu] re :ft 747 tuning encoder

the only thing im not looking forward to is actually opening the device.
it is a small box with 3 or 4 "fold over" (and stay over by the look of
it ) tabs. i have a feeling that once these are straightened they will
snap off when i try to close them again.
but it might be worth while , and of course it is in the spirit of ham
radio to experiment.
