[Kenwood] Fan problem with new ts-930

Hi all. I just joined this list at the suggestion of another 
member. I just bought an TS930s and when it arrived the mailman had 
not been kind to it. My 930 has a serial number of 306XXXX. There 
are 4 wires that come out of the heat sink housing and go to the fan 
which screws onto the back of the heat sink (Just outside where the 
two power supply regulators are at). One wire, the light purple one 
has broken. The white, red and black are still attached.
There are four sets of contacts on the back of the fan housing. The 
contacts at the lower left and the upper left and upper right all 
have jumpers across them. The lower contact of the two at the lower 
right does not have anything attached to it. The upper contact of 
the two at the lower right has the white wire attached. I'm assuming 
that the light purple wire gets attached to the contact next to the 
white wire but I don't want to do that unless someone can tell me if 
that's where it goes or not.
