[Dxbase] DXBase Loses Access to Rotator Control

Running Win 10 here.
I've been working from home A LOT these past two weeks. I've been
keeping DXBase running in case interesting DX is spotted. I usually only
have it on when I'm actively operating, which doesn't last for hours on
end unless its a contest. I contest using N1MM+ and import the resulting
log into DXBase.
I've been using my lovely old TS-930S as Radio 2 during this time. Since
I've been doing this, I've noticed that after a while of inactivity (I
don't yet know how long) DXBase loses the ability to adjust the rotor
control (a Green Heron). I see no popups that say it's unresponsive and
will be disconnected and it shows that Rotor 1 is connected in
Tools>Options>User Options. When this happens, if I close DXBase I can't
reopen it: choosing it either in the Start menu or via the desktop
shortcut results in nothing. I have to restart Windows to be able to run
it again. However, if I can still address the antenna positions, I can
close and reopen DXBase without problems. I haven't tried this with only
Radio 1 and not activating Radio 2: that's my next experiment.
Has anyone experienced this and, if you have, what's the solution to the
problem?
